Introduction to Trek: Old family friend is actually an editor of one of the major K/S zines, which I didn't know until a few years ago. But I did always know she was a Trekkie and since I enjoy sci-fi I've liked looking around for it. TNG was on tv at a good time one summer so I started watching. And now I'm actually entering fandom because of the new film.
