I'm Ryan! *waves* Not much is new since my FO, but in brief, I'm 28, just finished my first year in nursing, and I'm currently unemployed. Hopefully I'll be getting a job soon, we'll see how that goes. I might be working at a convenience store if things get desperate.

Anyway! I'm falling hard into this shiny new fandom, so I thought I'd share my new playlist from my ipod.

Also I'm getting into writing again. I claimed a prompt at kirk_mccoy :D Weird dust/chemical forces the crew to tell the truth. Much crack and porn ensue. :D

Now all I need are people who will willingly listen to my blather about fic. Pretty much I'm wondering if anyone would like to see my writing process. Also it will give me a chance to catch mistakes and shiz before I post it. It's all gonna be hidden behind a filter because Lj isn't getting it until I'm supposed to post it in the comm. But *bites nails* I'm so new to the fandom I don't want to screw up so I'm really going to need help with the voices, and general canon. I have memory alpha saves. but I'm not sure how much I really need for canon when this is hopefully going to just be porn. >.0

I haven't written porn in a while. Well, not true, I've written original porn, just not fanfic porn. So comment if you'd like to be on the flailing filter!

re: fic I'm no goddess at it, but typically willing to check 'voices' in works. For Trek, my canon knowledge is pretty minimal and I typically use the wiki to check details.

Yeah I'm hoping this will be more porn than anything else. But so far plot is really trapping me in it's nasty tentacles.

So far I have just over 1k words, but it's been two years since I've written in any fandom. I'm just hoping I get my mojo back and soon.

I'm seeing the movie again tonight so I hope that will help with characterization as well. ^_^

LOL; watching it for the third time is what triggered my fic instinct on the series. Not writing much myself, but it'd been a while I did anything but original works. Strange to change back!

Also: ALWAYS good to see it again! (and again and again)
