Dear Gods, where does the time go? No, really, I'd like an answer.

I start my second round of clinical this week. Things are going great in that area though because of a cold and being on an antibiotic I had to miss last Friday's clinical. Two and a half more weeks and I'm on holiday.

So I haven't been really good with posting lately. Mostly because I've been stuck in the same old same old routine of getting up, going to class, surviving class, and then trying to relax enough to handle the next day. Right now, I'm a little lost for time and when I have down time I don't even know what I'm doing with it.  I knit when I can, I've been watching a lot of tv and just being bored. o.O

On the knitting front I'm 3/4 finish Dad's up north boot socks. I'm working on Thuja as well 3/4's done the first sock as well. They might be for someone else, and I might be getting paid for them. The mights are in there because it depends on if they pass muster. .  I also have one mitten finished, a blanket started that might be ripped out since I can't decide what I want to do with the friggen yarn.  It was meant for a planet but I don't like it as a planet. I hate the way this yarn looks in garter, o.O is that normal? I love the yarn but everything I've knit with it so far is just pretty.  I have a hat to finish, my grandmother's shawl to start, fingerless gloves to start. Two more hats to start (one for my brother one for his girlfriend). 

This week I have to copy out a few more recipes, and send a few letters off.

Speaking of letters. It's getting close to Christmas card time. Those of you who expressed interest eariler, I'm screening comments here, or if you prefer you can send it to my email eirvin.k@gmail.com. 

I'm sending them next Wednesday so that they'll get everywhere by Christmas.

Right now it's time for the cleaning to-do list!

Kitchen:

• Dishes: Wash and dry
• Sweep, vaccum and wash the floor
• throw a wash in, dry, fold and put away the others.

 

Downstairs in general

Sweep/vaccum
mop the floors
vaccum the the stairs

And now it's time to clean!!

W00t! I'm so happy you love knitting :D. It's one of the few hobbies I've come across that actually relieves stress for me. Also I'm a colour whore, I love looking all the colours and seeing how they'll go together.

Almost! I'm still working on the back then the sleeves. I might keep everything on needles and try a three needle bind off to limit seaming. :D I took a bit of a break with it and now I have to focus on the Christmas stuff. If I get the socks and stuff finished in time I'll finish the sweater (hopefully in time to wear it for christmas). ^^
