So I've joined Autumn Write

I also think that due to time constraints and my inability to actually get anything accomplished I'm going to be backing down from Star Trek Bb. It's not that I can't write 15k by Sept 15. It's that I can't finish the story by that time.

I'm not going to be making any decisions until the end of the week. No harm no foul that way. If I get anything accomplished on the fic I might keep going but if I can't do it justice I'll be dropping the bb.

What is this I hear? No more STBB?

Sorry, I know--been a lousy buddy lately. Trust me, it ahs its reasons but from now on I humbly promise to be there for you, especially if you make (or are planning on making) such tough decisions! *nods*

I may have to yoink that progress meter.... that's awesome.

I always feel bad dropping stories. I stopped participating in fests finally because my life got really crazy and the last few prompts I got were all "You want me to write WHAT?!" Doing something justice is important. And there are always more stories out there, at least. *too many bunnies myself*

I hope that you dropping the BB doesn't mean that you'll never finish the story. I really wanted to see how you were going to end it.

Though you could just rattle off the ending to me and I could be like "Oh Yay! So THAT'S what happened!" :D

If the Muses don't want you to finish it in time, then don't rush it. It'd better to have a story you're proud of than get something finished by deadline.
