So, this is the yarn. It's Sidar Denim chunky, the colour is Marizpan. It was discontinued in 2006, and I managed to get just enough for a sweater so I'm really happy. my only prblem is, that I don't have the write needles. -.-. I have straight US13 and US11, but I don't have circulars. I'm putting money aside when it starts coming in, in September, I'm buying a needle set.

One more Picture!

I so, so wish I could knit or work with yarn in any way (but I suck, truly). Working on Chinese knotwork atm. It's pretty cool, but man my fingers are sore. You still working on clay? Those goddesses were awesome. If you're interested, I could rec a great book that gave me quite a few ideas.

If you ever wish to learn one of the best places to go is youtube, or ehow. Both of them off some really goo tutorials for stitches, casting on and off and so on. Every so often when I get stuck on a particular stitch I look it up on youtube and get the Aha! moment I needed to work the stitch out properly. :D

The important thing is, is not to look at the expressive patterns right away. You'll discourage yourself before you even get started. My suggestion start small, hats are a cinch to knit up, and you only have to use one stitch. ^_^

I'm still working on my clay but until I get my room cleaned up before I can start making them again. I have limited space in the house. Actually I don't have limited space I just live with people who don't like when I leave some things lying around while I'm working on them. LOL

Anywho. I love knitting, my left index finger is red and tingles because I've been knitting so much the last two days, LOL.

Great! Thanks for the tips :) I started yesterday, it's not really working yet but I'm getting there. Or I will, eventually. My mom even got me "Knitting for Dummies" from the library, she's more excited than I am I've found myself "such an original new hobby!"
