So I've been rather incognito the past week. This usually happens because of school, but I'm hoping to break the habit a bit and try to post stuff. Mostly I've been back and forth to school and knitting my fingers off. I've finished two projects this week.

!!!!

Two that's unheard of for me. So I'm really happy about that. Both are up on Ravelry but I don't really have pictures yet. The first item finished was my cousin's mittens, the second was a slouchy knit hat. Also my first lace project. I didn't think lace could be that easy... huh, who'd a thunk it. I've started another hat for a friend, and I'm on the third pattern repeat for that one. 1 and a half more and I'm done. :D I have another project on the needles which is the button hat to match my cousins mittens. It's a cute hat and goes quite well.

School has been awesome and while not as busy as last year, is still taxing. There's a lot of material, especially when you consider it's pharmacology and Mental health. This month is also busy because I have to recert for my CPR and I have to get a criminal background check done so I can go to the hospital in November. Classes over all have been going well and are really interesting. Last year was laying the groundwork and it was a lot of material to cover in a day so I spent most of the time wondering when class would be over so I could sleep. This year I'm not only paying attention more I'm actually contributing to class and asking questions.

I haven't written much at all in the last week and a half but I think I can still pull through, lol. I knew September would be the month I would slack off because of all the crap going on. The last two weekends have been spent cleaning my room.

Yes I know, I've techinically been cleaning my room for a month. But I'm getting there! Last week I managed to clean everything out to the point Where my computer cleaned off and currently being updated. My craft caddy is in the corner and able to be used properly and not just as a drop off for junk. I've spent the better part of the day putting clothes away doing washes and cleaning out the drawers to the caddy, the computer desk and the shelf next to it. I put labels to the shelves and they're now all nice and neat. The caddy has also been glued in a few places with liquid nails so that the top won't fall off if I lean on it.

I have to bring up a garbage bag and a recycle bag for papers so I can get rid of the junk I took out of the drawers. Then it's onto the bed to clean off the rest of the stuff. I have one box that I need to go through and toss a lot of papers. Mostly stuff collected from over the year that I don't really need. Hopefully once this is finished I'll be able to be comfortable in my room again.

FUnny thing is, when I started cleaning I had trouble sleeping for a few days. It's weird. I can sleep in clutter, and I can sleep in clean, but the idea of it being half done makes me an insomniac. I also need to bring a chair up from either the basement or the kitchen. The chair I'm currently sitting on it really uncomfortable, too low to really type for long stretches as my arms go numb after a while. And my leg is already numb in patches. :<

Okay, back to cleaning, I shall return later when I need a break. Right now I need to start on the bed. :D
